How to make this delicious lemon chicken recipe:

Chicken breasts – this recipe calls for 2  10 -12 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts and once you cut them cut them in half on a diagonal, then it should be enough for 4 people. However, you can purchase them smaller for the size you want for each serving.  Chicken tends to shrink and lose between 1-2 oz after it’s cooked, so keep that in mind.

Honey Garlic Butter Sauce: consists of

  • minced garlic
  • chicken broth, and vegetables broth can be substituted
  • lemon juice
  • honey that was infused with garlic: can be substituted for pure honey
  • unsalted butter
  • dried oregano
  • basil
  • salt and pepper.

The honey I used was infused with garlic from a local farmer, north of Tronto Ontario, near Parry Sound called Beaver Creek Organic Farm (@bcreekf) and they can be found on Instagram. The grow fresh produce and everything is unique, organic, sustainable, and absolutely delicious. The honey garlic jar that was gifted to me, it was labelled flu fighter.

Honey and garlic is loaded with antioxidants, and have many health benefits. If you keep these two in your pantry and cook with them often, you are building a stronger immunity to most viruses.
