These delicious healthy granola bars are crunchy, chewy and make a perfect snack anytime of the day!
This healthy granola bar recipe is sweeten naturally with maple syrup. The coconut, and nuts add a nice crunch. Add your own nuts, dried fruit and seeds of your choice. Have fun with this recipe by substituting nuts, seeds and dried fruit to your personal choice. Keeping in mind to add the same amounts of butter, honey, coconut oil, and maple syrup.
Always gather your ingredients so everything is accessible. Chop your chocolate and nuts. Lightly roast oats, coconut and nuts in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Keep an eye on the coconut, as it will turn golden quite quickly. Allow to cool before adding it with the other ingredients.
Begin adding ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add roasted oats, coconut and nuts to mixing bowl once they are cooled.
Healthy Granola Snack Bars

- 2 cups organic quick oats
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup roasted coconut
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut-in
- 1/3 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds/chai seeds/flaxseeds
Instructions
- Line a 9” x 9” square baking pan with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
- Lay oats, coconut and nuts on a baking sheet and place in a 350 °F oven for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, just enough to get them toasty.
- Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, measure and add the remaining ingredients.
- Once oats, coconut and nuts are cooled, add to the mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
- Transfer to prepared baking pan and press down firmly.
- Cover with wrap or seal lid and refrigerator until firm for up to 2-3 hours.
- Cut into bars and enjoy!
